If they only showed after someone was arrested or confirmed as dead that would be cool. Even if they don't glow, a name like ryguytheguy stands out quite a bit more than Spy.
I agree, it would be a nice addition if the identity of a player was only revealed upon inspection. This makes the game more intense but also strategical as you can try to "blend in" without having a dead giveaway on your back.
