    Disguises

    I am proposing a game mechanic that allows a player to be able to temporarily disguise as an enemy. It could work through an item that you pick up, and once you equip it, it will make you disguise as the enemy for 30 seconds to a minute.

    I've already thought of some potential issues and solutions. This seems like it might be pretty OP, so we would need to make sure there is some drawback to using this mechanic. I was thinking that while you are disguised as an enemy, you will not be able to speak or attack

    Methods for countering cameras for the Intruders

    Cameras are in the game and are a very nice and welcome tool for Guards for gathering intelligence. Something I find problematic about them though that they cannot be disabled. A single Guard can permanently callout the Intruders from the safety of a camera room for a whole round, and there's nothing Intruders can do.

    Here are a few ideas for ways that cameras could be disabled:

    • A prompt that disables the camera permanently/temporarily when you move right up to it
    • An item with finite uses for disabling cameras (I was thinking sticky notes with a drawing or a spray

    Spies Vs Mercs esque Gamemode

    If anyone has played the Pandora Tomorrow/Chaos Theory multiplayer, or the MGO gamemode (I can't think of it's name), you'll know what I'm going for with this.

    The game mode would work where the Intruders have no lethal weapons, just gadgets like banana, smoke grenade, gas grenade, cam, etc. Whereas the Guards get all lethal weapons. The briefcase/hack objectives work fine because that's how Splinter Cell and MGO played out.

    This forces the Intruder (spy) team to use a lot more communication and team/stealth tactics. I think it would add an interesting way to play whereas right now both teams

    Taking the enemy radio off a body

    It would add another layer of depth to communications in Intruder if you could take an enemy radio off of a dead body. You would be able to both listen and speak on it like a friendly radio, but for balance's sake, it would take up a spot in your inventory, and you would have to have it out to be able to hear it.

    Make a gesture to shut up your teammates nearby if they're talking. Like fingers to the lips.

     Because it's annoying when you sneaking in vents and your mate starts to talk and giving out location. :/

    Know who killed you

    When you die have it display who killed you and what team they are one. It would be nice to know in situations where someone threw an explosive over a ledge and killed you so you could find out if it was friend or foe. What prompted this thought was have 6 people of varying teams above me on cliffside and being blown off by a c4.

    Night Vision Goggles

    Hey, i haven't seen this idea yet. If there is one, pls just delete this! So my idea was to add NV Goggles on rounds while having night. Maybe storing them in a sealed room with a keycode lock. Have the Keycode random every round being displayed on a PC Monitor in a different room maybe.

    Tranquilizer Gun

    Headshot = 3 second knockdown

    Body shot = CS gas effect for 5 seconds

    Limb shot = No effect

    Gun must be cocked after each shot which takes 1 second and has 3 ammo per magazine

    The Need of an Overhaul to the Commendation/Reputation System

              The current commendation/reputation system in Intruder is inherently flawed. It's an honor based point system completely controlled by other players in your matches. The systems purpose is to allow players to evaluate other players with a negative/positive scoring; however this system holds multiple flaws that do not promote proper usage of the tool, and hinders the game experience cause of it. These hinderances are a causation of the absence of rewards/repercussions for a positive/negative reputation, the lack of incentive and incentivization to vote among players, and being a underdone system needing more depth and purpose.

    Ability to send photos to the enemy team (PsyOps)

    My idea relates to the current binocular camera/send photo system. I believe for "tactical" (Read: PsyOps) purposes the ability to send photos globally and/or directly to the enemy team as an option (preferably as an additional mode for the binocular) would be great. Picture the scene, you're a guard defending an infiltration point, or are patrolling, and a photo pops up in the bottom right (Or perhaps left for photos from the enemy team) with a red frame or outline signifying it was sent by the enemy. You look at the photo and realise it's a photo of your back.

    Bots would be amazing, when no one is on, then we can play with AI!

    Had an idea for bots. I know it would be hard but was just thinking. Would probably need some kind of pathfinding, but maybe having a node connecting to other nodes and the bots just randomly move between the points, at least it's something. Just an idea.

    Random Package Locations

    Make multiple locations for the package to spawn and have it randomly choose 2/xlocations. Alert the guards to location(see intermission time https://superbossgames.helprace.com/i228-intermission-time) possibly in a pre-planning period so they can map out their next moves. Having the package change locations every round would create the need for Intruders to search the building, possibly making stealth a more important factor while looking for the obj.

    Window breaks, and leaves shards on the floor that generate noise to attract enemy

    Had this idea for a while now, thought it would give an unfair advantage on maps with tons of windows, but maybe you could assign a few windows to actually create shards on the floor and others don't. You could also make the side of which the glass is shot from matter by making the shards fall on a specific side determined by which side it is shot from. These are all ideas/theories of course and might ruin balance for all I know.

    Auto-Balance

    As of now, the teams are divided into two, and people get to choose their team if there's a spot available, that's great don't get me wrong,the only thing that's missing is team balancing after every round, meaning this feature will randomly choose a player from the team  that has greater nymbers in it and they will  be switched to the team that needs players the next round.

    EX: A round starts, it's a 5v5, in one team 2 people leave, the next round it's a 5v3(currently it stays like that until someone joins the server, and the only solution

    Being able to see what the person is genuinely doing without having clip walls in front of you while spectating in 3rd person would a great addition in my opinion.
