    Sleep takedowns

    Right now, the only non lethal way to incapacitate someone is to arrest them. Doing so can be annoying because the arrested individual might scream like a toddler until you have to use lethal force. Which brings me to the mechanic idea I’ve got: sneaking up on people and putting them to sleep, either with chloroform or your bare hands. It’d incapacitate a player as if they were arrested, but it’ll also make their vision/hearing limited, and disable their voice/text chat. Maybe after a minute and a half the player would wake up, but be arrested. Maybe it’d get people

    Motion Sensor Changes / Buff

    Motion Sensors can now be shot and destroyed as an alternative to being removed by hand

    however, destroying a sensor in this manner will cause the owner to get the beep sound as if someone had tripped it, but incomplete and glitchy, kinda like some of these for example https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E7lb9SAf87U.

    If the glass a sensor may be attached to is broken then the sensor should act like the above as well, this would make it easier to rig rooms such as lab A on riverside.

    A possible buff for the sensor (if needed) would be to cycle between 3 different

    Basic Server Controls Needed

    1. Allow us to refresh server list (use a (hidden) timer to prevent request spam if that's the worry) but without this we feel helpless.

    2. Allow us to sort servers by playercount/ping (why don't we see ping)/mode/map/name by pressing on the table header asc/desc

    Games joinable by magnet link

    If you don't know what a magnet link is, click here. When in a match that is has open slots, a link could be generated that could be sent to a peer. This link would auto-magically launch Intruder with a set of parameters to auto-login, and auto-join that match if at all possible. Why is this useful? In the browser extensions, a player could see that there is a server open and join it by only using the extension. The extension would use this "magnet link" in order to launch intruder and join the game. Beyond that, 3rd party websites

    Changing Default Output/Playback devices in game

    Good day, Robert.

    So, I have two different Playback Devices — speakers and a headset — and I constantly change between them through the windows settings. I found out that if I launch the game with one output device selected as default, and then change it in windows settings while the game is still running, nothing happens and audio still comes out the first device I had selected on game start.

    I suggest adding a selector menu (kind of like there already is a mic select) for output devices as well, so we'll be able to change where audio is

    Show all possible servers to join and not just ones within the same region

    Display all servers on the server browser, enable it so we can sort through them by clicking the table header like Mode, Map, Name, Players, Region, that way we can sort the region through that. Remove the region drop down menu at the bottom right when looking at the server browser then and add it to the room creation menu instead to define what region you want to host the server in to begin with. This would help clear up some confusion people have when trying to select their region.

    TripWire Gadget

    I had an idea for a gadget out of nowhere, similar to how the banana operates in the game right now.

    A tripwire. Maybe for the guards only, depending on the map. To use this gadget you would have 3 in total, you would place one end against a wall, and have a fixed distance to where you can place the next one. It can be up to chest height perhaps. 

    Anybody who walks into the tripwire, whether it be feet or chest height, will instantly trip, and either have low energy or have to press ‘get up’ perhaps 3

    New weapon for intruders

    Like instead of the intruders having a vector, they could have like an mp5 maybe it could be silenced but less damaging. Or you could have an attachment silencer for it, but the best option I think is basically the same but It is an mp5. It would be neat.

    Silent kill

    I think that when you have arrested someone there should be a silent way to eliminate the enemy so hostiles nearby are unaware, maybe have a "use" function to *snap neck* or something like that just so you don't have to silently arrest someone, just to then use a gun to finish them off

    In-depth Dismemberment and Blood mechanics

    I believe gore or at least a more aesthetically pleasing blood system would be great, and would make the gun play so much more satisfying and rewarding.

    Blood

    -Blood decals should be smaller, and should represent high velocity spray. Current blood looks extremely cartoonish.

    -Blood decals appear on bodies, and could maybe soak into clothing over time.

    -Blood splatter from entrance wounds should be small and should effect only the floor or any surfaces immediately in front of them, meanwhile exit wounds would generate an intense high velocity spray hitting the floor and wall behind them, following the general path of

    Custom Weapon Support for Map Makers / Gamemode Creators.

    Greetings!

    I was wondering if it had been considered to add support for mappers / gamemode makers to create custom weapons for the game.

    One idea I had for example would be a non-lethal mode for intruders only. They are given the following:

    - Smoke Grenades -- Vanilla Equipment

    - CS Gas -- Vanilla Equipment

    - Beanbag pistol -- Has a similar model to the suppressed weapon, but only ragdolls enemies when shot. Does zero damage and has limited range.

    - No arresting for Intruders. -- Given the beanbag pistol at play, the intruders can no longer arrest enemies in

    Intruder Notifications chrome extension filter

    Is there a way to make Intruder Notifications chrome extension filter and only show US official servers? There are lots of russian servers and locked servers that are just not important to see on this nice little app. Anyway, just a thought :)

    Recording Demos

    The demo feature in source games is an invaluable tool for making videos and neat skill compilations.

    The demo feature essentially allows all positions and movements of characters to be recorded so that it can be played back later for watching/sharing/video making

    A similar feature in Intruder would be cool.

    Show the name of who is talking on the radio

    I’ve come across toxic players and just generally annoying mic spammers, but sometimes you can’t tell who it is. Adding a way to know who is speaking would make it easier to report/mute toxic players. The only drawback I see from this is that it would fill up more space on the hud, but it really doesn’t have to be that big.
